W. James Hindman – CEO
The visionary and serial entrepreneur behind Jiffy Lube International, W.J. Hindman began his professional career in hospital administration. Parlaying his success in the healthcare industry, Hindman built a mini-empire of nursing homes throughout the US. From there the Jiffy Lube story follows along with numerous other ventures along the way.
Today, Hindman continues his life-long mission of finding a need and filling it—this time in the area of age-related macular degeneration. Diagnosed at 57 and eventually declared legally blind, Hindman found a way out of the darkness thanks to the implantable miniature telescope. With his renewed sight Hindman has a renewed passion for life and for helping others who suffer from this devastating disease.
Darlene Sartain – CFO
Darlene began working for the Hindman family when she was just a teenager. Through hard work, dedication, and her natural abilities, she grew into her current position as CFO of the Hindman Foundation.
Cindy Tracey – Executive Director, Operations
Having run the operations for a number of medical practices, Cindy joined the Hindman Foundation full-time in 2015, bringing with her knowledge and expertise in the planning and execution of strategic plans.
Timothy J. Hindman – Program Coordinator
During his time with Jiffy Lube, Tim Hindman acted as both President of Fleet Sales and owner of 27 Jiffy Lube units. Tim returned to his passion for reaching others as teacher and counselor at Youth Services International, a juvenile justice and rehabilitation company. He also served as owner and manager of a thoroughbred farm, with locations in Maryland and Florida.
